Shine

This painting is of a Spartan 7 aircraft built in the 1930’s in the USA, the aircraft now operates from Southern England and was originally sketched at the 2013 Panshanger Revival fly in. The title reflects not only a great aircraft but also what was a perfect day at this historic and very pleasant airfield near Potters Bar in Hertfordshire. The title (like some other of my paintings, is taken from a David Gray Song !). This painting and the other Spartan 7 painting ‘Some Days are Diamonds’ (Title from a great John Denver song !) were both accepted and exhibited at the Guild of Aviation Artists 2014 Summer Exhibition ‘Best Aviation Paintings of the Year 2014’ at the Pall Mall Galleries, London. Both framed images are for sale @ £340.00 each. Photos showing the framed pictures can be viewed on the GAVA site in their 2014 Exhibition Gallery.  www.gava.org.uk
